Lord Jesus, there are times when we feel utterly powerless,
when despair and fear threaten to freeze our hearts. All we can do is cling
to you, bury ourselves in you, and hold really tight. Help us, please, to
trust in your loving and sustaining presence to brings us life. Amen.
