2 Kings 13:22-23
Now Hazael king of Syria oppressed Israel all the days of Jehoahaz.
But the Lord was gracious to them and had compassion on them, and he turned toward them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, nor has he cast them from his presence until now.

You would think, after thousands of years, the arab nations, would be able to live peacefully, with Israel. Isnt it odd, how we can read the bibles, and still see comparisons, to current events? Its almost as if, Muslim nations, are stuck in the dark ages.

ReplyDeleteAn Army of Locusts
ReplyDelete2 Blow the trumpet in Zion;
sound the alarm on my holy hill.
Let all who live in the land tremble,
for the day of the Lord is coming.
It is close at hand—
2 a day of darkness and gloom,
a day of clouds and blackness.
Like dawn spreading across the mountains
a large and mighty army comes,
such as never was in ancient times
nor ever will be in ages to come.
I've always been intrigued by Isaiah 19:21-25 (ESV). Especially verses 24 and 25: "In that day Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, 25 whom the Lord of hosts has blessed, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.”
