Psalm 79:9-10
Help us, O God of our salvation,
For the glory of Your name;
And deliver us, and provide atonement for our sins,
For Your name’s sake!
Why should the nations say,
“Where is their God?”
Let there be known among the nations in our sight
The avenging of the blood of Your servants which has been shed.

For 170 of our 239 years, nations looked to us for integral direction. We had a faith other nations respected, if they hated. Now, we are seeing for the first time, a distancing of nations FROM us as our leaders fragment and rule against the faith that defined us for a century. We are now driven by plurality, not unity, and celebrate diversity, rather than commonality. May we humble ourselves and pray for our people.
