When was the last time you rejoiced when you were suffering? It is just against human nature, right? But this promise is real, I have experience it first hand. My suffering has given me hope.

Romans 5:3-4

Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,

and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,

  1. Kim, that's the same result I had when emerging from last year. It was awful during the suffering, but learning about humility was a whole lesson by itself. I don't know that there is a way to humility except through suffering. I agree with you.

    1. I'm totally with you. I pray that I get this during the suffering instead of waiting for it to be over.

  2. Encouraged by article about you & Brit in Decision magazine. Thanks for sharing your personal faith journey in it. My wife has cancer and I needed a story of successful couple growing in faith through suffering & adversity.
