The trees and fields don't frustrate themselves asking what God is up to, neither does the ocean. There is no desperate yearning to know the purpose of life. They just rejoice in what they were created to do. It is a good example to follow.

1 Chronicles 16:31-33
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;
And let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.”
Let the sea roar, and all its fullness;
Let the field rejoice, and all that is in it.
Then the trees of the woods shall rejoice before the Lord,
For He is coming to judge the earth.

  1. Sounds cute since you're not one held captive awaiting to be beheaded by Jihadists.. Nor one burned alive in a cage..

    Cute little phrase though.. be like the ocean and accept..

    Uhm.. OK>

  2. The complexities of this world, let alone God, make it necessary to accept who we are including our limitations before we can rest and rejoice in our being His. Thank you, Kim.
