Using a phrase shamelessly taken from a charismatic Protestant preacher I admire, "He'll take you places you've never even dreamed!" What's comes to mind for me is a vignette after the resurrection (John 21:6), where they do as He commands and their net is filled with such a superabundance that they can't even haul it in!
I have asked Jesus into my heart. "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If any man hear My voice and open the door, I will come into him and will sup with him and he with Me" (Revelation 3:20).
Also, I have seen a painting of Jesus guiding a young sailor through stormy waters. It was much better than I can describe it. #Helmsman

ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day.
This Thursday is Ascension Thursday
ReplyDeleteI think the Ascension is a doctrine ignored by Christians, so thank you for the reminder. #TheAscension.
DeleteThat to me is an amazing passage. They immediately got to where they were going. It sounds like a miracle over time and space.
