This strikes me as the definition of integrity. Think how many times your yes isn't really yes, and your no isn't really no. We are just inviting bad things into our lives.

I hate criticism and I hate to be rebuked. I'm trying to learn to love it, and see it as an opportunity. Oh how I want his spirit poured out on me. I want his words made known to me.
Proverbs 1:23-27
Turn at my rebuke;
Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you.
Because I have called and you refused,
I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded,
Because you disdained all my counsel,
And would have none of my rebuke,
I also will laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when your terror comes,
When your terror comes like a storm,
And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.

The breath of life is in that dove. "..he put out his hand and took her and brought her into the ark with him." I think Noah loved that dove the same way God loves us.

Please let us not grieve him to his heart. I pray for all you reading this and for myself that through God' s grace it can be said of us he "walked with God."

Believe it or not, this is an example of God's kindness. If he allowed Adam the possibility of eating from the tree of life as well as the tree of wisdom, Adam would live in the misery of the world for eternity. I can't think of a worse fate.

"indeed it was very good." When I am down on myself and calling myself all kinds of names. I have to remember this. He created me, exactly the way I am. What right do I have to be disrespectful of His perfect work? Oh, by the way, He provides for all my needs.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.
Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so.
Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
