The world seems so crazy. There are times I don't grasp anything. Then I reach for the Bible and find that the world has always been crazy and the one constant is that God is with us whether we grasp it or not.

In my depths I was drawn to the Psalms. I never knew exactly why. Now I do. He heard my cry.

Changing our actions can change our hearts. If that fire doesn't seem like a good alternative you might open your mind to the advice given by John, the guy who baptized Jesus.

Soldiers also asked him, “And we, what shall we do?” And he said to them, “Do not extort money from anyone by threats or by false accusation, and be content with your wages.”

We're talking about status and pretty cars and the latest fashions and celebrities and addictions and victimhood and popularity and likes and retweets and big houses and the right schools and building yourself up to tear others down.
