I'm selfish and I have lots of worthless things. Of course, there's a prayer just for me in the Bible. It's there for anyone who needs it.

Psalm 119:36-37
Turn my heart toward your statutes
and not toward selfish gain.
Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.

    The bible is indeed a rich intellectual journey for those who open themselves to it.

    And then there's this - I was driving through a town in Missouri today, and passed a church with this on its sign: "I am the vine you are the branches". I thought of you immediately - the truths you share make it easier for us to spot truth in new places.
