All you intellectuals out there listen up. This is what Paul had to say to the great thinkers in Athens. I'm not a great thinker, but I could hear this every day and not tire of it.

Acts 17:24-27

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man,

nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.
And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place,
that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,...

  1. Also - 1Cor 3:18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; [fn1] 20 and again, “The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” We must remember that God is supernatural and transcends all natural things.

  2. How I need God!! I sometimes wish I was that person that says they "feel" a calm overcome them and know it is Him. I don't have such a gift but walk daily on Faith that He is with me.
