Are you brokenhearted or wounded this Christmas Eve? He heals. This is the God who counts the stars and calls them by name! Merry Christmas!

Psalm 147:1-6
Praise the Lord!
For it is good to sing praises to our God;
For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.
The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.
He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds.
He counts the number of the stars;
He calls them all by name.
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power;
His understanding is infinite.
The Lord lifts up the humble;
He casts the wicked down to the ground.

  4. It takes effort, faith, and grace for the human imagination to bridge the same healing power of all the created stars of heaven to the smallest DNA in our body. It is not easy to link these two thoughts at same time. Harder, such a leap, the whole universe...a broken heart!

    Psalm 147:1-6 reminds us of God’s transcendent power and incalculable wisdom, His infinite kindness & mercy! His desire to heal and restore! God knows stars by name. God knows each of us by name, before we were born. Protection, blessing, tranquillity, abundance are the outcome of obedience, God’s gifts to them that respect Him. @larrygrowe
