A red letter reminder that God sees right through to our hearts.

Luke 11:37-40
And as He spoke, a certain Pharisee asked Him to dine with him. So He went in and sat down to eat.
When the Pharisee saw it, he marveled that He had not first washed before dinner.
Then the Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees make the outside of the cup and dish clean, but your inward part is full of greed and wickedness.
Foolish ones! Did not He who made the outside make the inside also?

  1. Old Testament is sociology! New Testament is psychology and economics! Nomadic tribes lived in continuous fear that a member would bring sickness, disease, and disorder upon the collective tribe. The tribe needed protection from the individual. Old Testament is “Thou shall not!” New Testament is “DoThis!” @larrygrowe

  2. The new testament is the new Covenant. The Only Covenant of the new testament is the EUCHARIST.the Body Blood Soul & Divinity of our Lord jesus Christ. Every Book chosen for the New Testament contributed to the Liturgy of the Eucharist. The Liturgy of Eucharist in 2nd Century eventually became the Basis of the Holy sacrifice of the Mass. Today is the ULTIMATE act of Love that God and Jesus Christ demonstrated to the world.Offering his only son to die for our Sins and His son to not question but volunteer to die in obedience to his Father that love manifested in the holy Spirit. The Eucharist is the daily bread offering mentioned in the Lords Prayer that will give us Eternal Life a fulfillment of mana from Heaven in exodus.in the old testament.
