I was dead now I'm alive, lost and now found. If you think you know what this parable is about, please read this book. It is SO interesting.

Luke 15:32
"'It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.’”

  1. The parable of the prodigal son is the parable of the forgiving father. Many are locked into themselves and cannot get out! Many, like the prodigal son, are locked out of self and cannot get in! The Holy Spirit is within! Through the patience and hope of the father, the son “came to himself” (Luke 15:17) The him being HIM! The conscience of the two became rejoined. Biblical father is not about gender, but about lifetime parenting for self-discovery. @larrygrowe
