I have a few rough places I need leveled. I also have my share of darkness, but the closer I am to God the more I understand this promise.

Isaiah 42:16
And I will lead the blind
in a way that they do not know,
in paths that they have not known
I will guide them.
I will turn the darkness before them into light,
the rough places into level ground.
These are the things I do,
and I do not forsake them.

  2. Don't we all - that's why we continue to need Jesus - first as Savior, then as advocate.

  3. In "Builder of the Spirit," the first book I wrote, I tell of a story about branches being cut and placed on the alter one Sunday morning. The bundle had a piece of paper on it that read "John 15:5 & 6." The end result was many adults just looked at the bundle and walked by, but a young adult teen pastor asked to use the branches. He later told me they were used as an object lesson that moved many teens.
