Isaiah 3:12
As for My people, children are their oppressors,
And women rule over them.
O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err,
And destroy the way of your paths.”

Yes!! Amen.
ReplyDeleteAdding my Amen!
ReplyDeleteAs a father and grandfather, I too say Amen. This has been Satan's way to take over the American family and sadly it has worked.
ReplyDeleteThank you, ALL of it so true
ReplyDeleteOur young males have been taught to be passive/lazy in their responsibilities and our females have been taught to assume roles that they are not designed to undertake. Add to that the fact that adults have been portrayed as stupid and inferior to their more mature children. The World is upside down.
ReplyDeleteThanks to you all for your encouragement. This post seems to have hit a nerve. I don't know what to do, but we have to ask God for guidance about turning this around. Brian Perry, a respondent to this post on twitter said something so true. "Love and respect is so important to a marriage. Respect to a man is like love to a woman, it keeps them going."
DeleteI like Isaiah 40 28-31. Men are so busy running the race, that they forget why its run. Yet when they stop & think, they will find refreshment in those they love & in the Lord. For God is merciful & forgiving, His yoke is light & His Path forgiving.
ReplyDelete28 Did you not know? Had you not heard? Yahweh is the everlasting God, he created the remotest parts of the earth. He does not grow tired or weary, his understanding is beyond fathoming.
29 He gives strength to the weary, he strengthens the powerless.
30 Youths grow tired and weary, the young stumble and fall,
31 but those who hope in Yahweh will regain their strength, they will sprout wings like eagles, though they run they will not grow weary, though they walk they will never tire.
That's wonderful, Thank you. I'm in Isaiah now in my daily readings. I'll look forward to Isaiah 40. In the meantime look forward to som Isaiah posts. It is very rich. Kim
